GayBFF is an adults-only community for making friends. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page describes the standards and measures we maintain to prevent, detect, and respond to it, in line with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy.
GayBFF is strictly for people aged 18 and older. Every member must provide their date of birth at sign-up, and any account with a date of birth under 18 is rejected by our servers — this is enforced in the database, not only in the app. Members must also pass an identity + selfie verification check (through our provider, Veriff) before they can appear to other members or send messages. Accounts that misrepresent their age or are found to belong to minors are removed immediately.
The following are strictly prohibited and result in immediate, permanent account termination:
• Any content that sexualizes, endangers, exploits, or abuses a minor.
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind.
• Grooming, solicitation, or any attempt to contact or exploit a minor.
• Impersonating a minor or misrepresenting age.
Every profile and conversation in GayBFF can be blocked and reported from within the app, and our team reviews every report. You can also report child safety concerns directly to us at hello@gaybff.app.
We act on reports of CSAE promptly. We remove violating content and accounts, preserve relevant information as required, and comply with all applicable child safety laws. We report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or the relevant national or regional authorities as required by law.
